Hey there! I’m Lisa Niven Kelly, owner of Beaducation. I just moved my studio and as I unpacked boxes, I found a silly amount of pliers and hammers. I thinned out my collection and filmed the process hoping it might be helpful to see why I kept stuff and why I ditched stuff. Cheers! Ya can shop for all these goodies on our site, beaducation.com 🤓🤙🥂

I love your hair! Kinda makes me want to have this cut again!
Where is the place to ship Lindstrom Cutters for resharpening
you can contact Lindstrom directly. Google Lindstorm for contact info.
I absolutely love how helpful and detailed you are!!! The best video i can find ANYWHERE on the Web!!!!! I give all props to you love!!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for the feedback!
Thank you 🙏 very much , so beautiful and elegant, thank you for sharing 💕💕💕
Thanks so much 😊
I would add a byzantine chain to the pendant. It's more work but it would look prettier.
Cool
You are really amazing. After 1 year of struggle, I landed on your tutorial, and now i feel like i am graduated in soldering. Thanks a ton. 🙏 Love from India ❤
Sweet! Glad we could help :)
this a very old video. what color beads did you use in your bracelets
sorry, you are correct, this is an old video and we really don't know what color bead that is
❤
Hi Beautiful design 👌 may I know your razor flush cutter no. Plz?and can I use it for thicker than 20 g wire? Thank you
I like the 7223s. You can use it on 20g and thicker but not at the tip and you must use them on dead soft wire. Enjoy!
I'm lazy do you have a video on jump rings that actually match ends.
❤ I found this very informative. Thank you
Glad it was helpful!
Oh wow, how far away did you move? Looking forward to new videos! 😁👍
We moved to San Luis Obispo!
Great job ❤
Thank you! Cheers!
Looks like fun.
Where did you move to?
San Luis Obispo
❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks for this rundown. I have used ProtectaClear in the bottle for many years. I dip once and then hang the piece on a wire in a jar but I babysit it a little for the first hour by dabbing the base of the piece lightly on a paper towel because gravity makes it pool into a drip at the bottom. If you don’t dab it, you will end up with a thicker blob at the low point. I let it dry for 24 hours before applying a second coat. Three coats tends to make the piece look a bit plastic, so I only do two coats. For pieces that don’t fit into the bottle for dip an dunk, I use a toothpick and tap the bigger drips back into the bottle before applying. As I mentioned in a reply to another commenter, I use a mask, protective eyewear and rubber gloves - the fumes are quite strong and should not be inhaled. Hope that helps.
hi i don’t normally comment on videos but you guys are so cute and i loved this video. good info!! thank you!
Thanks for watching! And thanks for the feedback! Glad you found it useful :)
eyor was a sad donkey who had his tail tacked back to his butt region by christopher robbin. I believe that both of these characters would make excellent celebrity guests that you could get to appear because their legal protection has expired about 53 years ago.
Cheers! And tell eyor that he's a bad donkey, kind of an ass or a jackass if you will! Please don't get back to me with all your weird things that you say and face it you are just bothering those spirits in the material world? Who sing a song on the radio?! Next thing you know you is got lots of jewelry making tools shipped to your giant estate somewhere in the west "A region. A place that has been ruined by pedestriansa
It's time that you resist your massing mass amounts of free money and rather than go on an 8 year non stop crack binge i decided that i would try fentanyl so that i could discover and decimate why fentanyl is worse than heroin. So this is Matt Pryce who has switched from crack to speed, hell yeah you bandana wearing monkey boy from Slauson delivering all them drugs who loves you baby?
Great idea!
Thanks!
I don't have the tool to sand the tip As you demonstrate. What can I use instead ??
You can use fine grit sandpaper.
Hello quick question if i may. When you say place in tumber. I know what it is. But do you place anything else in the tumber at the time ? And second question how long do you tumble it for ? Does tumbling just polish up the item ? Im new to jewellery making and trying to learn thank you. Stunning bracelet by the way and so so simple. How dovyou know how many rings to make for a bracelet though ? Sorfy too many questions im sorry i apologise . Thank you for video. Kirt
Great questions! In the tumbler you need to also put in stainless steel shot (specific for jewelry) and a burnishing liquid. You can find all that here beaducation.com/pages/search-results-page?q=Tumbler .Tumbling does more than just polish, it also hardens and burnishes. Here’s a link to a vid that might answer more questions ua-cam.com/video/bwWTRBhqXNM/v-deo.htmlsi=t6ZK-SqFGdFgr0Wa As for links I’d the chain, it all depends on size of links, size of your clasp and size of the wrist.
@beaducation Thank you forbyour reply I shall check the links out.
Did u allow the sharpie to dry first then wipe it off? I used microfiber and lint got stuck. Any advice? Thanks
Yep, make sure it dries all the way first then clean off the top with a tissue and rubbing alcohol.
I just learned the basic byzantine I am excited. I just got done with making a multi colored bracelet.
I wear a six and a half bracelet. That's one thing about making your own bracelet. You can make the size you want for your wrist.
❤
❤☝🏽🩵
I were a 6 or a 6 in a half.
Can I make a Byzantine ring?
Thank you so much for this!
Really helpful and easily explained. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
First bracelets, what name the wire u use?
24 gauge Sterling dead soft round wire
💙💚Thanks for an easy-to-follow tutorial w/ clear instructions👍 Troubleshooting was an added bonus🤠
Great to hear!
I needed to see this. Having some issues and needed to go back to some basics. Great video!!! 👏🥰
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you very much for this extremely useful tutorial. I love the way you present the class. I can't praise you enough about how you don't talk about unnecessary stuff. I love how you explain how to hold the tools. You are an excellent teacher. I've never done any wire work, but I am collecting the tools 🔧. I'm waiting for some wire to be delivered & I'll be ordering a hammer. I already have an anvil. I can't wait to start working on this new hobby. I'm a quilter and I'm already thinking of ways to incorporate wire charms into my wall quilts. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
fantastic! Enjoy and let us know if you have any questions!
Aargh! Never use the tip of your cutters! They will break…no matter how expensive they are!
that is a good rule of thumb however if you are working with good cutters and thin soft wire, you should be totally fine.
Why don’t you post a chart regarding aspect ratio?
Very helpful. Thank you for sharing
You are so welcome!
Kind of glad you left the mistakes in this video! It makes you seem more human and thusly more relatable! Sometimes you watch these vids on here and think my god, is everyone perfect besides me! The brain farts definitely make me feel more normal!
oh yeah, gotta leave the mistakes in...that is where the real learning happens!
@@beaducation I love it! This was a great and very informative video!
Thank you for some helpful instructions. I learned that somethings work and even though you're an "expert" it still didn't work as well as you tried to demonstrate. Which actually helped me to know I that it always doesn't work, even with practice. But I will keep doing it. This wasn't a dig, just an observation. It was a good video. 🙂
Glad it was helpful!
As someone who just munted an industrial data plate in my workshop, this tutorial has shown me where I went wrong, so thank you.
If you wear glasses you can also get side shields to slide over the ear pierces if you have Z-87 or better lenses. Working with torch have welding glasses.
The video info is incomplete!!! So unsatisfying really 😢
Thank you. It's the most detailed teaching I've read
Sweet!!! Glad it was helpful!
What size rivets are those and where do you get them?
These are 1.5mm. We have a bunch for sale here beaducation.com/pages/search-results-page?q=rivet
Great tip on rocking the end back and forth to add a little bit of strength to the metal.
Glad it was helpful!
Hello, I am new to this art and I wanted to ask you for some recommendations on how to seal my pieces, so that the tin is not in direct contact with the skin (it irritated my skin a little hehe)
nice work mam, thank you for your guidance 🙂
Most welcome 😊
That turned out really nice
Thanks!!!
